Spent my birthday at Taste of Chennai—authentic food, warm service, and Harris Jayaraj tunes in the background made it feel like home. Special thanks to Shiva for the surprise Gulab Jamun treat. A truly heartwarming experience!
Finally visited after hearing great things—service was prompt, and the Tamil songs made it feel like home. Loved the Dragon Chicken, Fish Sukka, and a custom-made Prawn Pepper Fry. Parotta with Chicken Pepper Curry was the highlight—authentic and flavorful. Biryani was a letdown, not the Chennai style as claimed.
Every dish was bursting with flavor and creativity! The ambiance set the mood perfectly. From start to finish, it was a delightful culinary adventure. the presentation stunning!

Had my first indian since going vegan. Just ask for the vegan menu, it's not a menu but a folder with allergy details so you can use it to check what has milk, eggs etc. Our food was delicious and service great.
Poori masala, sambar vadai, garlic naan, paneer butter masala, chicken tikka biriyani - all were excellent 👌🏾. We really enjoyed all dishes despite making it to the restaurant nearer the closing time . But I still would recommend you to find a better recipe for chettinadu gravy which we tried last time and were disappointed 😔
