Delicious food, friendly staff. Nice decor and seating

It’s just not about the food!! Popped in on a Thursday evening for a takeaway. Ordered a couple of starters. The waiter told me it’s gonna take 15 to 20 mins just after I paid and it took even more longer (advice tip - ask how long it’s gonna take when you order). While I was waiting I was just watching the restaurant operations. The place was almost at 90% capacity. A few observations and suggestions while I patiently waited for close to 30 mins. 1. A front desk or someone out there at the front to help customers find a table would be helpful. I saw people walking in and expecting someone to guide but couldn’t. They came all the way in to speak to someone. 2. The serving staff seem to be a bit new and not that confident. Maybe some training would help. 3. I just saw a lot of dependency on just one person who was serving, cleaning up tables, taking orders as well as instructing. Maybe they are understaffed. This is not sustainable. Needs some serious structuring and delegation. Some of his instructions were pretty much visible and clearly audible to the customers dining there. Not a great image. 4. It would be great if they could find themselves a food delivery partner as soon as possible. Currently they don’t have one. 5. Frankly guys no one needs to wait for 30 mins for a couple of starters. A customer’s time is more worth than you guys presume.
